Brooke Dedrick, Principal,
Architect AIBC

Brooke is a Registered Architect in BC and holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of British Columbia as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill University. She grew up in Port Moody, British Columbia and has lived in Montreal, Toronto and Switzerland.

Brooke has 15 years of industry experience. Beginning her career in Toronto, she worked mainly on transit and community housing projects. Moving to Vancouver in 2013, she changed focus and developed an appreciation for residential design which included spending four years designing custom laneway houses. Brooke especially enjoys working with clients to make a house their home, no matter the scale. She is committed to the value of home and housing and continues to seek knowledge on the history and socio-cultural issues surrounding the subject.

Outside of the office, Brooke spends time running and swimming, learning Spanish and photography.

This laneway house is where we plan to live for hopefully many decades to come, and Brooke has made it a perfect home. I was warned that dealing with the City was going to be a migraine-inducing experience, but with Brooke on board, I didn't get a single headache. Every detail was taken care of. The design is flawless and beautiful, and she is lovely to communicate with—this highly organized person who answers all your questions readily and with a great deal of knowledge”
